new ABC series 'Once Upon a Time'

I'm really loving the Evil Queen's costume from last night! I'm in the process of gathering materials to have this done for Dragon*Con this year.

And my boyfriend pretty much has Graham's sheriff outfit...soo...woot! Looks like we have a good amount of friends interested in a OUAT group!

Also, a sneak peek to an upcoming back story:

I love the story from last episode! I needed a good ending after what happened to Graham. Oh and after episode 7 I checked the imdb which says Graham has 22 episodes so I figured he will still appear in fairytale, and I checked it again just now it's 7 episodes for Graham now. :(

That picture of Graham reminds me that Emma didn't carry a gun! I can understand deputy not carrying a pistol but she's now the sheriff, you never know what you'll run into (and there's wolves in the town!).

ANyone else think they need to stretch some stories a little?. I mean last nights was great but one episode for a fairytale seems a little short. They could of stretched last nights to two episodes. Ended part one with the kids getting locked up or something. Maybe its just me but they seem a little rushed lately. Still a great episode though and still one of the best darn things on TV.
And the eye candy is great, can't decide which I like more though the Queen/Mayor or Snow white/school teacher.. Oh well....

Haven't seen this week's episode yet but did anyone notice in last week's episode that banner of the Duke who had the dagger had, what looked like to me, a white whale? Could that be a hint that the Duke is Dr. Whale (David Anders' character)?

I don't knos if they can run this 5-6 years and have a finale' be getting back to the original world. Possibly they can get back after 1-2 years but that there's much more to do than just getting back.

Apollo bars were on again last week too :)

I didn't notice that! But then again I'm not that into Lost (only saw the first 2 seasons). But it was a nice touch nonetheless.

I like how the show was paced, Snow White's story is unfolding nice and slow, but stretch too long will kill the show.

Actually I just thought of something and checked, Henry brought a pack into the old mine tunnel, and he dropped one Apollo bar at the entrance (found later by Archie). I guess the whole "Henry doesn't eat candy" is just another thing Regina didn't know about. :p

My wife really likes this show. But I'm a little put out by the fact that while it appeared early on that the fairly tale folks couldn't use magic anymore, and now all of the sudden it seems all bets are off.

Cboath, I think that is the clearest example of magic being used in the real world and one that defintely proves the Queen still has memories of fairlytale land...
However, I think that Rumplestilskin/Mr. Gold has also wielded magic in the real world/Storybrooke.
I think we saw this early on in the series when he used the word 'please' against Regina in Storybrooke. Wasn't this an original requirement of the deal they made? That she would fulfil any of his demands with word 'please'?
He may have also demonstrates his powers when, in this week's episode, he was able to come up with the name of the father...

But didn't the Queen state that none of them will remember the deal, while Rumplestiltskin asked for the magic password anyway? I guess you can either say Queen is trying to trick him, or he knows something she doesn't. But then again there's the heart incident, suggesting Queen KNOWS, then she must be trying to cheat Rumple... and so on.

Good points Kevin!
However, I will posit that Rumplestilskin has some sort of magical quality that supercedes that of The Queen; and in some way makes him immune to the magic of the Queen (perhaps, because of his deal with the Queen). Also, I will argue that he is trying to gain some sort of redemption in the real world... hence his assistance to Emma with Henry's warnings being a red herring... Of course I may be wrong but I'm glad that the producers still have us guessing of whether Rumplestilskin/Mr.Gold has knowledge of fairy tale land...

The latest OUAT is so good! I'm loving the Gold arc more and more!

And the big development is..

The queen and Rumpelstiltskin both knew the truth! This is so exciting and terrifying.

I think Belle might know too (Beauty from Beauty and the Beast).

Why else lock her up in a mental ward in Story Brooke? She's also another Lost alum :)

Wow. What a fantastic episode! The layered storytelling with Rumplestilskin is just great!
And that reveal at the end!? Wow!

Definitely looking forward to the next few episodes.

Maybe the underground mental ward is where the Queen keeps those who remember Storybook land? Or those who could force those in Storybrooke to remember? Or maybe those with comparable magical qualities of the Queen?

Very excited to see where all of this leads. What are your thoughts about who the stranger/visitor is?

I think that was one of the best episodes of the season!

I think the queen kept belle locked up as a bargaining chip to use against rumpelstiltskin. I can't think of any leverage better than the love of The Beast.

I agree with your spoiler, epilepticsquirl. I wonder what the Regina's long game is? She could have used her bargaining chip and quieted Mr. Gold.

Kid plays SPACE PARANOIDS and mom recognizes it. "It's all in the wrist!" She must know Flynn. (I soiled myself with excitement when she said that.)

Kid eats Apollo bars ...

Tron, Lost, and Once Upon a Time must all occupy the multiverse. ;)

I got like 3 minutes of that show on NBC with Christina Applegate last week - they were going to the airline counter - airline next to them was Oceanic, it's everywhere :)

I loved the space paranoids bit, too!

So new guy - August - find the book, cleans it up, and gives it back to Henry via Emma. Given that this is the lost writers, i'm thinking August might be grown up Henry.
