I think this looks great.

However, I'm confused. What part of which film shows Luke wearing the Vader helmet? I don't remember this at all, and it's been a while since I've seen the trilogy.

....wow...

When Luke enters the cave on Dagobah and beheads the phantom Vader, the helmet falls to the ground, exploding, and inside the cracked open shell is Luke's head.

Yep.
The head inside the rolling helmet (before exploding) is an fx head, but the shot where you can see Mark's face after the explosion is actually him inside the helmet.

How you gonna display it? Maybe lying sidewards on a muddy base...?

I am wanting to display it in a fake bed of dirt and debris at an angle so the eye doesnt appear to look down so far....similar to the shot on film.

But either in a square case that can be viewed from all angles or possibly as a display where the back half is cut away and the front detail can be set in a wall mounted box frame.

Decisions decisions....

Only one little criticism: The paintjob in Lukes face appears a little too colourful in my eyes. Maybe you can reduce the coulour a little.

I can´t wait to see it in the display.
