Oh, also watched Slither, which is a terrible movie, but fun to watch because it knows it is terrible and never quite takes itself seriously.

Also, watched ATM, which I have been avoiding because it just looked so cheap and crappy. However, it was highly recommended on a couple of sites for people who like House Hunting, which I thought was one of the best low budget movies I have seen in a VERY VERY long time. ATM was surprisingly interesting. You actually cared about the characters and while a lot of it was somewhat predictable and the ending somewhat pointless, it was still a cool movie that kept me wondering just what I would have done in that situation. I probably would have been killed in the first 5 minutes...

OK it sounds boring, it is not a fast paced action movie but a look at an interesting story and the traditional drumming.

After offending a powerful triad boss, young Hong Kong rebel Sid (Jaycee Chan) is sent by his father to hide out in Taiwan. Under the protection of Chiu (Roy Cheung) and in rural isolation, Sid encounters a group of Zen drummers, whose powerful art speaks to him. But to become a member of this inspiring ensemble, the cocky and selfish Sid must learn the important values of discipline and hard work.

The Audition
House of the Devil and
I Saw the Devil

are all really great horror movies. House of the Devil and I Saw the Devil are not related. The Audition is really cool because it starts off kind of like a rom-com but then totally switches gears, and it is just amazing.

A few shows I have watched on my netlifx instant Q that I really enjoyed

Lucy(2003) a semi true biographical tale of Lucielle Balle and Desi Arnes. Pretty good in my opinion, kept me focused on the story the whole time.

Can't remember if I mentioned this, but they've added the Long Way Round and the Long Way Down. Watch Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman ride motorbikes around the world. Really fun and cool to see some of the remote places in the world.

Mud. A solid flik with a surprisingly good Matthew McConaughey plus Reese Witherspoon, Sam Sheperd, and Joe Don Baker in small supporting parts. Besides MM, the kid who plays the lead character is fabulous. If you like things that are more quiet and off center, give it a shot.

If you're looking for something very silly, try Cockneys vs Zombies. Lots of laughs a la Sean of the Dead.

I just watched Only God Forgives on Netflix. It was shot beautifully but the rest was garbage in my opinion. I think it had potential but the acting or lack there of was just bad. The pacing was slow and the awkward karaoke scenes were awful.
