Nerf Vortex Diatron - repaint and weathering

So, I started of with this thing...



And after a few days (for once, I let it dry instead of rushing it) this baby was finished. In company colors, of course.



Please, let me know what you think. I don't paint much and for weathering/metal wear and tear is this the first time on this scale.
Tips and remarks are more than welcome.

Thanx Wolf! It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but there are some things I'm gonna do different next time. For starters I'm hanging them from a wire next time. They stuck to the cardboard like crazy.
