Hi all! I am looking for a source that carries bugle type beads...long and thin tubular beads. I am looking for beads about 2" long in silver, gold, and orange and am hitting a wall in my searching. Maybe 2" is too long for a thin bead? Anyone have any sources? I need hundreds of them.

Thanks loads! -Marcia

Could you tell us what you need these for? What are you replicating?

Two inches seems awfully long for a glass bead. I would think that breakage would be a real problem. Crazy Crow Trading Post has bugle beads in silver, gold, and orange up to 7/16" long. (www.crazycrow.com)

Thank you all! I am using them for fringe and could if I had to make them out of 2 smaller pieces, but I want the swing and smooth look of one long bead. I will look into your tips!! Thank you again!

i found 20mm. i'd say get beads in lengths that make up what you need, then string them together on a piece of wire just thin enough to go thru the beads. jb weld them together and let them set on the wire, then take it off n sand it. paint it the color you need, and you're good to go!
