i have searched the web and in my city with no luck. i want a motorized lazy susan. i have a simple home depot lazy susan and am thinking of converting it. height is an issue if i am able to mount a motor underneath it.

anyone ever build one or know of a brand? i want to place a helmet on it and spray.

I have no idea. But I can tell you about a similiar thing I did to get an even coat when painting a prop part with a special-fx paint.
I found a discarded record player in a dumpster. The motor was rated for 12V, so I hooked it up to a computer power supply.
The problem for you doing the same might be the weight of the helmet. A record player is not very strong.
