Necro-post to say, I finally snagged one of these. Judging by all the online reviews since it's release, it will make an awesome display next to 'The Mechanics' Nostromo patches. :thumbsup

Oh yeah, they are also a great bargain in that scale and detail just like our friend the ALIEN.

But the variants are a pain, with mask, no mask, with jaws open I think. No switchable heads. You have to choose or buy all three.

Well. The NECA 1/4 Alien looks OK for the price point. Basically an action figure.
...But have a look at this on eBay. Someone is trying to sell one of these NECA figures (looks alot like the NECA Alien figure) in the guise of a top notch "rare statue diorama". Sure, the back-drop diorama with all the mechanical stuff and pipeworks looks OK I guess but the Alien figure is just a NECA with some minor touch ups.
Shheeeesh ...... asking for over $2700 for that!! :wacko
Another case where buyers need to be knowledgeable and beware of dubious eBay listings.:confused

I believe I read that NECA was going to have another version that is improved from the last. Think I read it at fwoosh.net somewhere.

I've got this and their Terminator as well. They're huge and an incredible bargain! Quite well done, enough for general display if not for the professional prop crowd

Beware this is heavy and not well balanced, when it lands on your head from height....it HURTS!

sorry friends for digging up this old post, but i have a questions about this aliens firgure, mine have the same NECA ALIENS FIRGURE like this, but after a time display, i find out that the acrylic skull is no longer transparent anymore, that's mean alots of nice details inside the skull can't show, can some one tell me how to open the transparent acrylic skull to clean or repaint agains.....sorry for my bad english if you can't understand clearly T_T, good luck to you all
