im thinking about it because that is a sweet mask and after seeing this why not.I did get the SDCC exclusive one new from Amazon and ill get him as soon as they get him in stock

So.. A bit of an off topic question from what you guys are just now talking about... Has anyone even been able to find these in stores anymore? I have been hunting evvveerywhere... Can't find any. The supercon in Fl didn't even have any. Guess ya snooze ya lose.. And I just woke up....

I totally agree!So gonna get that new hand and Trophy off of Ebay some day when this is released. They'll be some of the great additions to my masked P1
Hell...i think i might get the head aswell. I just cant be assed with the figure tbh.

so, maybe someone could explain to me why would anyone want this "new" classic/gort? another exactly the same figure with other head... isn't neca trying too hard? everyone says "make the elder" and/or "make a P2", and they go for this thing... i honestly didn't suspect this hype over a completely unwanted (IMO) waste of 1/4 scale potential.

It's just business, they have the molds and dont want to waste it, also probably to have some sort of variety. I know NECA is a good company but again I have to agree with you. This will sell but not as fast as the P1 I think, since die hard fans are the only ones very familiar with this guy. I think NECA's gonna regret not listening to their fans. I just wish it was the elder.

NECA did this Gort version because the stores are still asking for more P1 1/4 figures. All the 15.000 they did are already sold out, and NECA came with this idea to make more 5.000 figures of P1 and, still, make them "new"...
I'm sure the target is not the people who already bought the other versions, but the people who could not buy them yet... like me

I got mine at Thinkgeek.com for 70 dollars plus shipping and it has a button that lets you choose which one you want.I couldnt find any at TRU but my TRU sucks anyway.Happy hunting.
