Yes they are connected. It is real easy to remove the two I think it is in three places.

Ok the Baby & Mother hippo is not the correct hippo for Bert. The correct Bert is a puppet from Folkmanis.

What surprises me is that CBS hasn't had an official licensed version of Bert done yet. I know TONS of people who'd buy one if it was available.

I just discovered this thread, and had to mention how cool it is. I've always wanted a Bert the Farting Hippo -- if it's good enough for Abby (woof!) it's good enough for me.

That being said:
