NCIS (2003) TV Series

I have a friend working on that OPSEC poster atm. If anybody wants a copy of it I'll post when I get the finalized version. I know there's a copy of Abby's Lab for Dummies book available somewhere too but I don't have the pics on here atm

Here is a photo layout using some real issued NCIS items (and some replica stuff) and a made up wanted poster for ARI, the killer of NCIS Agent Todd, 1/2 brother of Agent Ziva David, etc. I call the layout "Remembering Cate."

Here is a 1:1 version of the poster I made for Ari. I used a real NCIS wanted bulletin and used as much info as I could gather on the Ari character. Addresses and phone numbers are real NCIS locations.
wher can i find the ncis badge holder and the ncis folder like we can see in the picture on the righton the top???
thanks for your help:lol

Idiot Tries to Access Real NCIS Using Prop Credentials

Oh, that idiot was me. :cool

My big mistake was using a set of Ziva's creds, I don't look anything like ... well, you know what I mean. :rolleyes

I was at NCIS on police business so I brought one of my prop sets. The badge was dead on accurate as I compared it to one an agent was wearing. The ID credentials are not even close, there are fundamental differences so kids, don't try this at home.

The interrogation room was rustic and primitive compared to what they show on TV. Like anything military, budget cuts have hurt military law enforcement including NCIS.

Re: Idiot Tries to Access Real NCIS Using Prop Credentials

obviously, we'll never see in a movie or a series, a Cred very close to a true model for the reasons you know, as well as buildings and interior rooms that far from reality
everything is always best in fiction (especially the actors ...) very far from the original

Caplan, you are right about the interior rooms. Here is the NCIS interview room as seen on TV, from the HQ at the Navy Yards in Washington, DC.

Here is the NCIS interrogation room I was at.

For what its worth, NCIS cooperated with the producers of the show and allowed limited access to their facility. The set is reasonably close to the real NCIS offices and the color scheme is correct.

I love it. Reminds me of the time I tried to get into the NSA using film creds.

Guatanamo was very warm that summer.

Here is a declassified photo I took of the official NCIS men's room. In Navyspeak it is called, "the head."

NO REPLY FOR THE NCIS FILE FOLDER??????:cry:cryOR JUST THE LOGO THAT I CAN MKE IT MY SELF
PLEASE HELP ME

The NCIS folder (folio) is department issued, as is the badge case and clip on badge holder. I cannot resell / trade off NCIS issued stuff that I get.

I can send you per your PM request some logos, etc. but please PM me with your email.

if you can also scan the logo ( in high definition) of the ncis folder and send it to me to my mail it will be really cool because i understand you can't and won't sell it
like that i can do it after myself:love

I posted this in another thread, but thought it might apply here.

The TV NCIS ID's are very, very different from the real ones. I went with some other cops to a real NCIS office the other day on official business, so I brought a set of my prop creds with me. Here I am in front of the security entrance to NCIS with my prop replica creds:

PropReal_OPSEC.jpg

At the end of my business with NCIS, I showed the prop badge and credentials to compare with real ones. The metal ones are identical, in fact mine fit into the NCIS issued cases and belt clips. The ID's are way different. The real NCIS cards have the photo on the upper card, and there are many other differences I can't go into, and I will not show a photo.

The real NCIS agents got a kick out of my props. On my other thread I showed some pics of inside a real NCIS building, especially of the interview (interrogation) room to compare with the TV version. However, the agents include some extremely well educated folks including PhD's and one of the gals there was extremely pretty.
