Well, Here's the final Vader Mini Helmet
It's a little rough, but that's because I rushed the paint job
I think total time was like 20 minutes. I didn't even wait for the
black to fully dry.. Doh
I also haven't made any lenses for it yet so the ones in are just
Crap, Crap, Crap..

Even though I really rushed it I kinda like the way it turned out..
Once I get it the way I want, I'll post more shots and differen't angels..

Simply amazing...especially for your very first sculpt ever. Does it fit on any of the 1/6 scale figures?

All I can say is what I've already said:

1. It looks awesome. Dead-on likeness for ANH Vader. Nice job.

2. I hope you offer trimmed unpainted kits, I'd love to add one to my collection.

it looks to be more 1/4 - 1/3 scale, not 1/6

Outstanding work Doug - that came out looking fantastic!

The rushed paint job probably helps with that authentic ANH look, to be honest.

That looks great. I think you should make the chest and shoulder armor for a mini-Vader bust.:love

Steveo: Thanks a lot and to be honest I've never scaled it to a particular size,
but it is half the size of the Ridell if that helps..

JK: Yeah I've had a lot of interest and yes I will be offering a limited run once
I work out a couple more details..

Al: Thanks I appreciate it.. I'm anal when it comes to the finish and I really have
a hard time accepting the extremely crapy paint job I did

I changed out the lenses with cleaner more accurate lenses that I made today
and I cleaned up the Dome a little, but that's about it.. Enjoy the pics

I've had the armor on hold for a couple of weeks because of other projects, but
since I haven't updated in a while I figured I would post a couple teaser pics of
the Baked and sanded sculpt of the main chest armor..
Next I'll sculpt the shoulder armor and then make molds of them

The Armor looks a little rough because of the color, but it's just the picture,
the armor came out nice and clean

Thanks Dave lol yes this is My first Sculpt, actually second if you count the
armor as a seperate piece I'm extremely happy with what I've been able to
do so far and hopefully a hobby I'll get better at with time.. I really wish the
pics I posted did the piece justice.. My friends who have seen it in person tell
Me that it's far more reallistic to the real full size then the pics show..

Believe it or not I started a sign up list at another forum a week ago and haven't
had not one person interested.. That really surprised Me especially when I had
so Many requests for one.. I already have 8 casts fully trimmed along with mesh
and lenses just sitting collecting Dust Oh well
