My two latest Trek projects

Thought I'd take a second and share my last two projects. I'm still new at this and learning as I go.

First is a Stapleton Nemesis phaser. This is a GREAT kit and I highly recommend it. It was a lot of fun to build, too. I had my first experience with lacquer paints and I must say lacquer is sooooo much easier to work with than enamel. Here a a few pics (clickable thumbnails).

Second is just a repaint of the Playmates First Contact phaser. The baby blue color always bothered me so I figured it was time to breath some new life into it.

I'm guessing by "last" you mean "latest."

They turned out great. Wasn't the trigger on the Nemesis phaser red though?

Last/latest ... it all sounds the same after a 14 hour day at work :lol

The trigger on the "Endgame" phaser from Voyager is red. The Nemesis buttons are all silver/metallic.

I finally finished the Playmates repaint. I was picking up a few things at Target and came across some colored plastic tape. It was perfect for making that power meter look a bit more accurate.
