My Skeletor Costume

This year I decided to stop pushing it off and finally make Skeletor. I started this costume about 6 years ago with the mask and never got to anything else. I decided to enter a cosplay contest virtually this year. When brainstorming who I wanted to do Skeletor was the first character that came to mind and I dove right in.

This costume took me about 2 months to create and I used a variety of methods such as foamsmithing, leatherwork, sculpting, molding/casting, 3d prints, hand paint, airbrushing, fabric work and more.

I am very pleased with the result and if you have any questions of interest in seeing some of the build process I have a ton of photos of that, but for now here are a few of the completed costume.

My brother also made me an incredible video:

I'd love to see some of the foam building/suit processes you used, in general everything looks really spot on with elaborating on realistic armor - looking into trying for like the 2000's version for sdcc next year with ol' Myaaaah Laughs.

Can I ask, where did you get the references for the chest armor detail and the detail on the belt?

That belt is a real work of art!!!
