My Sidious V2 .45 mini

I didn't know it came apart till I was taking the tape off. Had I known that I could have cleaned up the paint near the emitter a little better. But it is nothing you see unless you are inspecting it up close.

This is my original concept. I've also made new art for a mini box that I plan to print out on high gloss photo paper and glue to the box.

Here you can see where the paint is a little off due to the tape. But that is easily fixed now that I know you can take the emiter off.

very impressive. the sidious is probably my favorite PT design... is the V2 a completely original concept, or was there actually a V2 used in production?

Yeah it is the one used during Sidious' fight with Yoda.

really nice job. The V2 looks better in my opinion.

Thanks :)

tonight I picked up some glass window frosting in hopes to give a matte finish to the chome.

I may have to do this as well...I really like this version better. Wonder why they've not offered this as a varient?

The paints used are, Rust-oleum Specialty Frosted Glass and American Tradition Interior/Exterior Ultra Enamel

I was a little impatient this time around and as you can see the black bled a little bit too far into the sliver and I didn't fix it very well. And I need to get a very small paint brush to fix some of the edging. But overall I think the look is right on with the screen prop.

Some advice to anyone who wants tries this. Disassemble the saber first, let everything dry fully before you take the tape off, and be very careful with any razor blades because they can scratch the chrome easily.
