My props n' stuff

Well, as I'm tidying out my study at the moment and doing some rearranging, I decided it was about time I took some pics of some of the items I have on display. I need to put up some shelving (for more props etc) and another movie poster or two but this is the basics of my collection so far....I just wish I had a bigger room for displaying my props along with my costumes too........

Hope you enjoy looking.....

Cheers, thanks for sharing! Is that the AA/DST Refit? I love the surprising amount of detail on them...

Nice, clean displays - good stuff.

I like the signed pics next to the props, that's something I tend to do as well.

Thanks, yeh it is indeed the AA Enterprise....I love this model!! Great in the evening, backlight at the rear by a spotlight.

Thanks for the kind comments Al, yeh...that's my intention, when the room is finished, to have autographs (got quite a few I want to display) sat next to relevent props etc...

Thanks, glad you like them. The room is far from finished but it's getting there

A couple more pics, I didn't realise that I chopped off my Angel puppet's head in the previous pic! lol Plus some of my Indy stuff too...

The ring on my 'Angel' shelf is one of my fav items...it's a screen used ring worn by the character 'Gunn' during the tv series. It's always a talking point when I wear it.

As for the Tardis, no it's not the cookie jar, it's the flight motion/control Tardis.

Thanks again for the kind comments. Will get more pics up as I get my other items on display.

Hey, that's great stuff. Collections don't have to be the biggest and baddest to enjoy and share. I think you have everything neatly displayed and have hit a great balance. Not too much stuff/unorganized and not obsessively displayed like some kind of shrine. Job well done, thanks for sharing, and keep enjoying!

Thanks, it's nice to receive such comments about my collection. I'm looking at getting another display cabinet to display a bit more....just gotta find one the right size, as my study is pretty small.

p.s In case you were wondering, the items on the top shelf of the wooden display are mementos from my time in the military, and not props lol!...I like to display them to remind me of those days.

Thanks, yeh I'm a big fan of OS BSG....it maybe time to get my colonial warrior gear back on the mannequin (often change costume on it every few months or so)

Cool displays, we have very similar interests. I have that same map from Raiders. Is that an Ikea Detolf display case?
Ooh and Airwolf too (the helmet... I think?)

Thanks...yeah, it is indeed an Ikea Detolf cabinet, a great purchase. I wish I had room for another one. And correct again, yep..that's my Airwolf lid. It's still got to be finished. I've fitted an led for the targetting sensor so now need to line the inside with some padding, then next sort the visor.
