hey just an fyi i have made many foam suits before, and if you put a spandex shirt over your foam muscles it will look more realistic

any idea how I can paste the muscles at the shirt?

some special glue or just any glue?

this is my first project muscle suit.    :)

regards

I did the spandex over foam before and didn't bother gluing it at all.  Once I put the shirt on over the top and covered it in latex the shirt shrunk down and stuck to the foam underneath.  It also really helps smooth out the foam and blends it together nicely, making it look more natural then straight latex with no over shirt.  Looking good so far!

I Used spray adhesive to attach the spandex over the muscles which were upholstery foam (used a cut up Mr Muscle suit).  If you want the muscles to be super smooth and shaped well,  cut the pieces to roughly the shape you want and then soak them in water and freeze, repeat till the piece is solid and then you can sand it easily.

I finished the front of the torso, i not put foam on the back muscles.

very happy with the result so far.

more updates soon.

regards

I have a problem.

I applied  latex in muscle suit , but as the latex is very liquid , the  foam Absorbs all latex, is not created cape of latex in the foam

That I can do?

I used 3m super77 foam glue it comes in a spray can I used the glue to attatch the pieces then when I was done I sprayed the glue over thefoam to seal it and then sprayed latex over it , that way the latex won't soak into the foam that much

I added some extra foam pieces to my muscle suit and had the same problem (foam absorbing the latex).  It took a few extra layers over the foam, but it all turned out okay.  Just keep adding latex until it's sealed and you have a nice, even finish.  The suit is looking great so far... keep it up!

After more than a year away for estudies i'm back :)
I look forward part of the process of muscle suit with more layers of latex.
This is what i have so far.
