My pred suit --WIP--

That sucks...I have a bad habit of slicling up my hands. I bought some nifty gloves that can take a beating. Cuz I don't want to loose fingers with half the things I do outside of my costume project. (Which has been quite easy on my fingers!)

Anyways, lovily work. I am looking forward to seeing it all together.

Here are my gauntlets, all that is missing is paint. I would like to make the bomb lights later on, but we'll see how it goes. Putting a heavy duty zipper on my Mr. I. suit and also making the "duct tape dummy", look for the funny pics!

So, I just had a "test fitting session" to see how proportionate my armor is to the Mr. I suit while I am wearing it.....and it looks too small. I stood in front of the mirror looking at different angles for about an hour and decided I have to make the pieces bigger to get a better look. It's not going to be too hard because I know what to make now, I just have to to do it . On another note, Ruffkintoy informed me that he received my payment for my mask and I just placed an order with Monsterroom for some of their famous latex. With a little luck I will be latexing my suit this weekend!

Will you be adding a shoulder cannon? then what about the back base for it? I find it often looks like a third shoulder armour, but with the rounded overall shape. Looking great so feel free to work on this as well as the shoulder shields (which I would do at least with the same layer fold for both as the one you'd already done)

Are you going to have a new helmet too to go with the mask you'll get?

I am using a 2 litre empty soda bottle, cut and modded to look semi legit. X3 I found that works best and is fairly light. For the cannon back part**

Started and finished the ductape dummy tonite. We got started kinda late..around 12am and cut me out around 3a. It started out fun and got really, really, hot....lol. My friend Amber did a really good job,......The form came out really well and is extremely close to my size. We did two layers and smoothed the first layer out before the second and I'm gonna add a third after it's re-taped a couple inches bigger and stuffed. Enjoy the photos, she sure as hell did

Every time I read a duct tape dummy topic I get even lazier about trying this myself

The duct-tape dummy is finished! Got up this morning and headed to Hobby Lobby and picked up some upholstery foam to help with the stuffing. I cut wide strips and rolled them up for the legs and arms and used the rest for the torso. I used a ginormous amount of plastic bags to stuff inside the rolls and it worked out easier than I thought. Next I am going to add the bumps on the back and extra abs on the stomach (cotton balls and cotton pads, Macguyvers idea!). Here are the before and after pics:

I like the gauntlets with the storage; also the way you used automotive spiral tubing.
I thought that was only used between the bio and the shoulder armor/cannon supply, and maybe from the shoulder armor to the wrist computer.

Maybe I skipped something, but I don't get why you made a red "Incredible" (?) figure from your duct tape dummy? I guess it's a costume you bought so that you will build on top and wear as your predator costume? Must be that.

Thanks all, I am pretty happy with it so far myself. I keep looking at everybody else's finished suits (which are bad ass) for inspiration which led me to break down the gaunts and redesign them to look better/realistic. They will have the same shape and the extra storage though, I hope to have them done by then end of the day.....Thanks again for all the compliments!!
