My personal 1/1 Indiana Jones display

There only one thing, I don´t know if it´s the light,
but I think he is a bit over tanned, and I also think there is a bit too much dark hair on his chest.
Also, am I having some problem with my monitor, because the hat looks green?

I like Steve's color tones because to me it loks like he may have a fine layer of dirt on his face - enough to darken it, but not quite enough to scream, "I smeared dirt on my face to look cool!"...

The original hat is sable, which has a ever-so-slight olive tone to it.

I also like that Steve went with a lighter brown beard; much more accurate han the quite dark tones most folks use.

Good eye... I actually used railroad model weathering chalks to apply a light layer of dirt to his face, hat and shirt.

Hey Judge, this may be a stupid question, but are you going to put Indy in a case?

I am planning a Blade (Snipes) head piece like that, and my wife and I can't decide if we should incase Blade or not.

What are you planning, since your Indy is so awesome!

Thanks man. No, I don't plan on doing a case. Since it's resin, I'm not worried about it breaking down or cracking, just a quick dusting with one of those computer dusting cans take care of it.

SJ do you have any painting tutorials posted on the net anywhere..It's quite ok if you don't but if you do may i have a link..I just really enjoy your work..:cool

DAMN! Now that is a display...and it doesn't detract from the main focus- Indy himself!

Steve you have moved into a different level of detail...nice to see an artist that grows his talents over time....constant improvement and creativity is a good mix.

This is one of you better paint jobs I have seen you do congrats. What did you use for the chest hair that was a nice touch

It looks awesome! Just a small observation, the hat. :$ It's quite tapered ,so it's / \ instead of the stovepipe | | Indy had

But apart from that, it looks awesome! :cool
