My Pepakura Stormtrooper Helmet

I'm enjoying your work and commitment to a very difficult project. I've built and bought enough TK buckets to know the challenges of this build.

The TK bucket PEP build is a minefield and you nailing it big time ;) I love the scratch build component.

Keep going...don't stop now.

Thanks so much! I've been having a ton of fun with it and learning a lot along the way! I'll try to keep the updates coming, though I do have to leave on a month long business trip in a few days so it may sit in limbo for a while

I sculpted a mic tip detail using some clay and pvc. i then built a lego box for a silicone mold.

I also made a stencil in 'adobe illustrator' and cut it out on my 'silhouette sd' craft cutter then painted the stripes on with some model paint.

The cast mic tips turned out really well! i just used rondo as the casting resin and spray painted them.

for the mesh detail I ordered a square of wire gauze on ebay. (I remembered the stuff from high school chemistry)
when I tried to cut circles out of it, I realized the wires weren't fastened to each other at all and would fall apart.
to remedy this i made a loop out of solder set it on the mesh and went over it with the heatgun.
This worked great!

I also did some heavy weathering and lost one of my tube stripes in the process, but thats an easy fix!

so all thats left are the lenses and repainting that stripe!
