My Office/Prop Room/Museum......Pics!!!

Thanks Hermes, no no requirements. You just have to somehow convince me that you are a SW fan, then I'll ask if you like the movies...........and voila!!!! Invite!!!!

And Hermes, you know you are invited anytime my friend!

Dave :)

Thank you, Dave! And whenever you are to question me, don´t make those really hard questions about Star Wars, you know.... I still don´t know where Mr. Spock enters into all this, but I´m confident I´ll figure it out somehow!

Great room, again, Dave! If I remember correctly, there are still more life-size pieces to make.... Whenever you can, I´m up for it!

Hermes!

Hermes, I already have our next life scale figure in mind. We shall discuss this more in detail in the near future. I'll give you a hint.....think ROTJ. ;)

The Rebel Blockade Runner is a kit that was offered by Randy Cooper. Go to the General Modelling section of this board and you'll see a couple threads with links to see Randy's works.

Here are a couple new pics of items I forgot to include:

Thanks man, of course I don't offer every patient to come into my inner sanctum of props, but there are a few who appreciate my love of the films and then there is the occasional kid playing with his SW figs in my waiting room........he get's an automatic invite. :)

I love that this hobby reaches all walks of life. I hit 40 this year and sometime feel a little sheepish about my "toys", but we have doctors, dentists, pilots, lawyers, moms, dads, and granddads (any grammas?). I have a VERY cool dentist - he's just a couple years behind me, big guy like I am and we could shoot the **** and probably just hang out if felt so inclined. But he doesn't collect props!

Here are a couple Yoda pix, new pose to show the belt and pouch as well as the necklace a bit better. Looks like he wants to begin whacking on R2 with that cane, doesn't he??? LOL

You know that training remote didn't do much for me until pretty recently. It's startin to grow on me more with time. Now it just seems to belong among my toys. :)

As others have said, a very classy and excellent display. A very nice mix for an office area. It doesn't overpower the room. Great job!

Thanks man. Hey, great news, my R2 feet arrived just now, so I'll be finishing the little fella this weekend with any luck. :)

Great stuff, Dave!!!

I love the Jawa... but, tell me... what's the material of the blaster he has? I have a real parts build-up which is super heavy. Is it resin?

The blaster is a partial resin/authentic buildup. The metal parts of the rifle itself are resin(real wood original rifle stock), but the launcher is original all the way. Yes it's a heavy bugger. That's why my little mannequin can't hold the blaster like I really wanted. :)
