Wow! My Hatter has taken a back seat for now due to a certain pirate....bloody rum soaked, wobbly legged PIRATES!!!!

Still awaiting my buttons and coat for Battle Gear Hatter but unfortunately no event to wear it too.

Found some nice trim white spruce at my work (all of our desks are custom made). They were throwing it out so I snagged all of it. Perfect thickness and length for a wooden Hatter sword.

Sporran is done but I still need to add the hair.

the battle gear is so good and worth doing as right as you can

my sporran is all black not sure how i'm going to make it like his yet !!!

going to make my sword wood thinking MDF just easy to work with not sure how the people in the pubs round manchester will be with me when i walk in with it though lol

got the socks last night tried it all on glad it will be a little colder here at the end of october lol

The Mad Hatter from the Hightop Clan kicks up his feet after doing battle the Highland way!

Yes I do battle in a Very Hungry Caterpillar battle ready shirt AND cargo shorts! My kilt was supposed to be here today but not!:cry

The purple looks black from a distance! Very deceiving in the movie too!
The garter ties should be in soon...hopefully Saturday with the kilt!

I've been meaning to ask you, Capt Jack........where did you find the upper section of the leggings? I found my stripped socks, but I'm not sure what or where to search for the "pants" parts.

Been REALLY REALLY REALLY busy with costume updates!

your coat looks A LOT like travis'!! like... and incredible amount! ( I think this is a good thing because I am SO SO SO proud of that coat. I LOVE IT! ) Did you use the smear glue and random fuzz technique??

Yes!
ACME Brand hat pins! Closest to get to the real deal!

Only the front panels with the buttons and button holes were weathered. I ended up using silk thread from material and 3M spray glue. Messy but the dried glue gave the appearance of burnt areas. I also used black fabric paint but it ended up sparkly on this material and looked more like Edward sparkling in the daylight. I ended up using a wire brush to break down the material surface and to rid the coat of sparkles. It still needs more work. The thread buttons are just painted because I haven't had much time but I hope to finish the thread buttons soon!
