I´m back from Jedi - Con 2010 and Star Wars in Concert.
We had a great, but stressy time there. Bernhard did an excellent performance on stage and as he walked around. It had been a lot of fun.

Many views, but no response?

I´m working on the final finish for my Chewie right now. This contains for example: curling the hair of the neck and add grey hair to the legs and the shoulders.
Changing a Wookie for podoo66 movie, to a Werewookie for the Jedicon show and it´s opening movie to ESB Chewbacca, finally.

well I'm lovin' it! I don't know how you guys find the time to put these applies together it's an unimaginable amount of work and I take my hat to you.
I would love just a head but I neither have the time to make one or the money to buy one. So I'll just have to put up with watching yours!

To be honest, I don´t know myself, where I cut the time off to make that stuff. Maybe it helps, that I´m living from making pupptets and stuff, and have my own workshop, where I can spend every "inbetween time" to do a little Star Wars prop work fun. I´m working on this and the second Chewie since 2004. You see I don´t rush. I give it the time it needs. Otherwise it wouldn´t be fun.
Speaking of fun:
The Guys from Banthapoodo did a very great Teaser for their Fan movie. The teaser was first shown on Jedi Con 10 and is now online:

It´s because he´s a Werewookie who wears a Geroge Lucas lookalike flanel. That concept was part of the script for the recent Jedi Con opening movie.

I thought I would include a couple vids of my generic Kashyyyk wookiee in action. Thanks to this thread I'm inspired to do a second head with battle damage ( a kid scarer! ). Planning on using a white contact lens and wound tissue to the face.

The other thing I am going to do is take a razor comb to my suit to define body shape better. This was upon the advice of Angie Mayhew.

I´m back to work on my Chewies. This time I continued on the ANH version. With some great help of my assistent. My plan is to finish the fur work on both at the same time.

This pushes me to continue.

Carl: My plan is to shorten the ANH feet on the front as I did on my ESB Chewie. It´s like working on high heels, but ist works perfectly.

I'm in the middle of a new ESB Chewie build too! There are no easy ways around it!

How exactly are you attaching the hair to the suit?
