Today I had the first costume test with Bernhard. It was very successful and we had a lot of fun. I´ll fix the hair on the forehead, then the grey colour, trimming curling, the small Boxes and: voilá - Chewie will be ready.

If I can offer a critique, he just looks...off. I think you overdid the brow hairs falling into his face. Looking at the pics, the forehead looks a bit small. He looks like a wookiee, just now Chewie. Still very awesome work, Joe. All that hair punching would drive me up the wall.

Qui, Chewies hair on the forehead will be brought back in position. I said, that I will make the hair on the forhead fix. Trust me. This was only the very first test. It will be a ESB Chewie at the end. Finally there won´t be a glimse of a ROTJ hairstyle. Watch the very first pictures in my first post.

I´ve been very busy the last weeks, so I couldn´t continue him.
But on Saturday I will recive a belt a leather craftsman did for me. Will look VERY VERY good. There will be some interesting news on my Chewie pretty soon. Stay tuned!

I have a Movie Shooting this Sunday with him. My Chwie should look more off and neutral like so Wookie. i have to make some littel Changes, so that he will be that. No typical hair style till the week after, where Shootings will be made for another Fan movie (i can´t tell too much right now) but till then he has to look more Chwie-ish:lol

As I said: we had a Wookieshooting today.
Notice: it was A WOOKIE Shooting. Not a Chewie-shooting!!!
So we had to do everything to let Chewie look neutral. I try to get the hair fixed in the typical Chewie style as fast as I can.

There has been another shooting with Bernhard with my Chewbacca costume on the weekend. The costume is still not ready, but I have a new improved bandolier and made some work on the hairstile on the head:

Thank you as well. I have a run of chewie masks in the JY. And I will make a run. but first I want to finish this one.
