Yes, we both like to punish us...right?
We do around 10 hair (with the knot in the mioddle=20) each sqare cm.
on thigh, shoulders, breast and forearm each 5 mm.
I´m looking forward to see your ESB Chewie. :thumbsup

Beautiful, IMHO. Thanks for sharing - I don't have the talent to do one so it's nice to live vicariously.

Building TWO Chewbaccas is very very time consuming. Much more than I was thinking of...nothing for people with not much time. I´m afraid that it could take some more time until I can show you the finish result :cry

No big news, but I put the mask onto the mannequin today and decided to take some new progress pictures.


I still need to add grey hair, put hair onto the feet and thin hair out...
Ah - and he´s carrying a bowbaster now:love

Should I make Chewies feet more ESB-screen correct or should I leave him more realistic? I think the real ESB feet looked a lot like shoes. What do you think, guys?

The head is looking absolutely fantastic Jörg:love It really looks like in the movie. Thats the first time i saw a Chewie who has this look. Just get the rest of the body as slim as in the movies and make him the feets how they looked in the movies......regardless if they look like shoes. Thats how the original has looked.:thumbsup
 
For me I liked the feet when he was on Hoth. ( i.e. like shoes )
When they are on Cloud City he has toes like in ANH and ROTJ.
Your ESB feet are perfect! Put the feet with toes on your ANH Chewie.

Your displays look AWESOME!

This exactly was my attitude. Yeah, I will try to stard trimming him out asap.

Maybe your Emperor and my Chewbacca will meet sometimes. Than they will discuss the wookie slavery conflict that happened on Kashyyyk!;)
