My latest 12 inch Darth Vader sculpt with Anakin head inside

the detail is amazing i wish someone would produce things like this.

Thank you Darkside!
Well nowadays we have sideshow, attakus and all the others. Maybe I´d never had sculpted Star Wars figures for myself if they would have been around in the 80s and 90s!
Well, my moulds are still intact even after all those years. So I can see what I can do.
Here are some more photos that are focused on Anakin.

Excellent quality and attention to detail!! Looks awesome. Your posts are inspiring and all of your work you've posted is incredible. Good job.

Thank you Steveo!!! I´m glad you like it!!!

Well this time I tried to reach another level of accuraticy, because I wanted to end my 12 inch Vader projects. I guess it was too much of an obsession to feel good for me. I did that instantly from 1887 to 98.

Here I send you some photos focused on the making of the suit.
You see: this time I used an action man for the body instead of building an entire foam-body with wire skeleton, to make it easier for me.

if sideshow would show such a great piece.
I think the most Vader figures lack of some detail or are in poses nobody wants.
And the Head and the reveal in a full posable figure is outstanding.

I share your opinion about the 12 inch figures you can buy nowadays. But I guess since they can do such great details and have such good sculptors, if I would have never sculpted before, I would use those figures as base and change them instead of sculpting everything entirely from scratch.
But besides the curse of the obsession, I´m happy I did that back then.
The difference of a Vader figure you can but and mine still is, that I used the entire same materials as on a life-size Vader. I mean, when they used leather on the cod, I used leather for the cod as well, and so on.

here are some photos of the finished figure

thats just cool, i did not know that.
The real materials and the light make this a real cool piece

Thank you Neil, Thank you AMP!!! I´m happy you like it!!!!!! :$.

I made a bust out of this figure to present it to friends. One was shown to David Prowse back in 2002. He wanted me to do a run of these with his personal face under the mask to sell a bunch of them on his signing tables. Unfortunately I couldn´t do that for a little amount of money. because it´s all handmade and very time intense. But I gave him one as present. He mentioned to me that it´s the best Vader sculpt he´s ever seen. Well, he was too kind...

Here are some photos focused on these Vader busts. I made some different casts to look what´s possible:

(a bad cast, but two nice pictures)

Yes. As I mentioned before, the moulds are intact. Maybe we can trade something? Or I can sell it to you. P.M. me on what exactly you are interested in.

You're one lucky guy Joe :)
And so is he for getting one of those great busts :thumbsup

Thank you so much DevineHersey:cheers:cheers.
I´m really a lucky man. I do feel like one as well.
David Prowse and I know each other for a long time (since Jedi Con 94). And I really like him. It makes me very happy that I could make him happy. He´s such a friendly man.
