My large x wing prop build ☺

one engine intake on

attached in place with a bunch of screws and positioned to line up with the small detail bits on the x wings body there just after the cockpit

just like my toy.

every stage of this build has been so rewarding and i could have made so many easier things lol.

trimmed the wing guns a bit shorter on my toy they come among side to a certain stage of the coloured design beside the cockpit so i did the very same with my gun.
i also lined the other 3 guns up to this one and trimmed them all to size too

i have still to add gun ends on i will get to that.

Nice angle of the wing with its gun on plus the engine intake there too its really rocking now

it almost appears to have a slight tilt its drunk i think lol. its fine it's just the way it was sat on the tree stumps at the time.
i also added the gun to the left lower wing too
i love it so far i hope you all do too.

Thanks George appreciate it. i love this prop it's been an adventure I just lay the 1978 toy down and tried to make it to a huge scale. the entire skeleton of it was done from spares I had lying around!

okay so its top wings time i cut the slot the size of the wing edge going into it and added a couple if millimetres as u do and after a few additional millimetres taken off i finally got it more right lol.
i have it here balanced on sticks to get z decent idea of height etc.

not the easiest but i wanted it in attack position i have a wooden support for winter i will use each side for the Upper wings but long term ive a decent idea to hold the upper wings up on there own .
