A lot smoother today. Incase anyone is wondering what the green stuff is its u-pol liquid gold glazing filler it's there to smooth out and fill all the little pin holes and imperfections before sanding and priming.

Ha ha didn't notice that and topless models are common place in British newspapers.

Oh wow, If there were topless add in newspapers in the States, then maybe less newspaper companies would be filing for bankruptcy.... lol Just sayin... HAHAH

Anyways keep up the good work! Looking forward to more! :popcorn

What would be the best condition to make a mold of a part would it be after you smooth it and prime it or would it be best to paint and clear coat it then make a mold?

Hey, good job on that part, but don't use so much silicon for your molds, you're wasting a whole lot of it, you could probably have made that mold 3 times smaller.

Check my build thread and you'll see what I mean! :thumbsup

Yeah I know it was a complete over estimation on my part but live and learn next one will be better.

There was a nice little tool that I've used on the SMooth On web site. Basically, you enter your part size (rough WxDxH) and it tells you how much resin you need to use. I found it really useful and could produce all my molds from 2 SMoothOn trial kits. :thumbsup
