Sorry , no pictures from start as such, the chest was bought in as it was 3d milled and so were the shoulders, The Helmet '3D printed' and limbs were from a member here on the RPF , it was his own build, you can still get that suit as a kit if you want me to put you in touch with him. Let me know.

wow I just came across this post and am amazed at the quality and detail of work. This is highly impressive. I just wish to one day be able to build on that level.

This build is outstanding and it's just leaving me speechless.

I need to cry a bit when I compare this to my own build^^

Thanks all of you for the great feedback , trust me, it's not been an easy process, Have a lot of thanks to RPF member Fingaz for his help through this, he's spurred me on! His experience of body repair work and paint has been second to none.

Dude nice job!!
How died you do the black lines and details? What kind of paint did you use?

The red is a bike Pearl paint but it's sadly no longer available , it's an old code and mixture as they've changed (as they usually do) so the exact paint is not available anymore, it's not from a rattle either it's automotive paint through a spray gun. The black lines were painted in with a fine line brush with black.

A quick test of the chest , back combined with the lower torso. This is to see where the rear spine top sits and how it's all fits together. I'm real lucky to get such a great fit as the chest is 3D milled but the lower torso is Finheads own make. Only had to add 10mm to the chest where it meets under the arms on either side. Not that you'd be able to tell.

A few more shots of the extra painted pieces,

Mark (Fingaz) has done his usual outstanding work with his paintjob here, I'm Just laying out pieces before I line the inside of them with funky foam , the fine foam will help get rid of any clanging noise but also, to a degree help with the wear of the pieces on each other as they overlap.

First pictures. shoulders that pivot from the center of the bolt.

Rib detailing from the 3D file added.

Back now painted and flaps re shaped with heat as one of them was pretty badly warped, Marks been a huge help here with this. He's re heated the flap and then built up the underside so it lays flat against the wall of the back itself.

Hand and fingers painted.

More to come quite soon, I'm just scratch building some moulds of the detail that will sit into the gaps at the knee's and elbows, these will then have that detail taken in rubber , once that's all done, I'll throw up some pictures!
