My Iron Man Mark III Build.‏

Re: My Iron Man Mark III Build, derived from a TMP V3 kit.‏

Amazing ressults, you taken it so far and so extreme, i truly admire your dedication you put into this! The paintjob is fantastic and expensive! If not expensive still jawdropping. Might advice people to get their own paintjob now i look at these ressults. I know the price to get a pro to paint that amount of armor cost. This even wants me to invest in paint equipment my self.

As far as the upgrades.
I love Masked Riders hands, neckseal and helmet! One of the things i am not proud of is our own hands. And the shoulder bells, i do love them. Always wanted to remake them. Great bells!
As for the spine.. a bit sad to se it go, but we chose to add that because we though it looked a bit more mean, but when your going for a movie style, i understand that you let it go. I am sure you find the spine that fit.

Overall i am overconfident that all the time and money you put into this (few people have done it to so extreme of my knowlege) the ressults will be outstanding!

In regards of the size and proportions, its important to mention you probably got the biggest chest of all the 3 sized chest adding to the problem of size. But we did improve it, and not got a 4th size rangeing from 5.6-6.7 and waist 30-42.

and there lays my problem John, As much as the TMP is a great sculpt and it is, it's the scale of the 'version' I got that I worked on cleaning up for so long that when I got round to trying it on I realized it was way too big for me. It's good to hear you've re sized it. that will fix the issue. :thumbsup

.

Here's the route of where I'm going now.

3D milled chest and shoulders.
....

3D printed helmet from Finhead, and Finhead's own sculpt of Arms, thighs, Torso all got as the scale all sits well for each other.

Bolt set 3d printed from BigTurc.

I'll keep the thread going with another update soon!

great use of wires in the fingers for movement, really like that idea, i did mine in elastic strips

Re: My Iron Man Mark III Build, derived from a TMP V3 kit.‏

Beautiful build! I love to see a really well made clean build. Inspires me to pay attention to fine details in my own builds :D.

Changed the title as there's hardly any TMP left in this build now, The Last parts are the lower legs (shins) and those I heavily modded myself as I cut them in half to remove a good inch in width.

More updates soon!
