I love the minimalist nature of this as a prop replica! Very nice. I also really like the idea of throwing in some yellow or orange lights in there to give it an ambient glow - that would be very cool!

Yes, the pieces are under the glass. I'll add more trinkets and stuff to it as I go along.

I think for the coffee table I'm going to do an Ark inspired piece. I already have legs that won't go on my finished Ark, so we'll have to make a table out of them.

Any thoughts? I don't want to do a mini Ark exactly though.

Weathering - A damp sponge, some dark brown to black stain, and start streaking! Your weathering would be done under 15 minutes. Test on a sample plank first.

I would give a million dollars to have the room to set up my props!!! I would turn it into my movie room with my home entertainment system.

Nice job!! Can't wait to see it glowing in low light conditions!! How about if you make a corner part of the Ark and have it breaking through one of the sides of the crate.
