As everyone else has said, congrats on the new job! I just got one as well, so I haven't touched my War Machine in quite some time. I hope everything works out for you, man. It's a shame to have to sell your helmet, but don't feel too beat up over it. We all have to make sacrifices for the greater good from time to time. I've been there too!

I'm Baaaaaaaaaaack!!!!! Well thanks to a kind soul, I won't have to get rid of my helmet; brother thanks so much man!!!! well now that I'm relax, I will post some pics soon, I have finished my torso. Soooo keep posted.....

Sooo I finished my torso, again, here is how it fits on me, I made it a little bigger to be able to get in like you would put a t-shirt, also I will have some space for the Gatling gun mount and the uni-beam and maybe some other little goodies, like my cell holder and wallet.....for the bar crawling or conventions....

Im so glad mine came out ok on the first try..I'm still thinking it might be a tad big specially my biceps but i have some ideas to fix them...well you are a pep machine i thought i wad fast...but you Beat me by a long shot...my kids .n work get me all busy..i will make my next day off a WM day...by the way you are OUR hero......

Man thank Juan and made; thanks so much for the compliments it means a lot, well tomorrow I will be hardening the torso, then I got the legs done just need some fiberglass; but I was looking at surreal's build and like the idea of using the drywall compound and then cast the parts, easy to sand and work with; know my problem is, I'm still debating, should I make it two parts and make it a tab bit smaller to make it more angular, or just make it one whole piece and cast it, my old torso by itself after I finish the resin and fiber glass weighted a lot.

Maybe you use too much, because i did like 3 coats of resin outside and 2 coats inside then added the mat inside, and its not that heavy, well compared to my predator head and suit wich weight a ton

On the other hand; me being so damn picky, I'm making the boots again, this time I will use the technique I learned fiber glassing the torso, instead of a ton of 3x3" squares of the cloth, I make long 6x2 strips, easy to work with a cleaner finish since you don't have to deal with the ton is harden filaments that poke you like crazy...

indeed my friend, tomorrow once I put together the boot, I will do the other bicep and the two forearms...hahahahah man I'm watching Robocop, I want to make me one of those!!! I remember putting a big box over my chest and try to spin the gun on my hand....

I'm glad to hear you're able to keep the helmet. It looks great with the new torso :thumbsup I can't believe you've made 4 of them already. I'm hoping to start mine soon this thread has really inspired me. My plan is to finish the 3D printed helmet I got from coofunkcurly, which fits like a glove and scale the armor top down from their.

Great Job! I can't wait to see it all together.

Funny you asked, I was looking or it, but no quite find what I was looking for, but I can tell you what it means thou...

FLTS, ED, 445 (the 445th Flight Test Squadron out of Edwards AFB); 001 (production number); AF (attack fighter); and 57 (the placement suggests the suit was built in 2057).

Somebody with a good Photoshop software can make them easy, I don't have it otherwise I will make them....
