Not exactly a wand, but another one of my latest work.
It's a card knife that I converted. I made a wooden handle for it then sculpted over it with the wolf design.
In case anybody's wondering what a card knife is, it's this:
Why a wolf? Fenris is a wolf from Norse mythology. If I remember correctly, his appearance would signal the beginning of Ragnarok. And I think he's the one who's supposed to kill Odin (can't really remember).
Dunno why, but I thought his name was cool when I was a kid so I adopted the name to all my video game characters. The first time I played Hero's Quest (or Quest for Glory 1), I used the name Fenris for my character. From then on, I would use that name everytime - either in a game or online. It sucks when that name is taken in a forum you wanna join though.
Golly, it's been 26yrs since I first used Fenris as my character name! :lol
