My Half Finished Theater Room

Just sitting around bored and thought I would get some feeback on my Home Theater Room that is still half finished in a lot of ways but still.

I really like the idea of putting some props next to their corresponding movie posters. That's the same basic principle that I want to apply to my Home Theater someday. Very fun looking room. Keep up the good work man! :thumbsup

I agree with Adam C. Really nice!
And also if not for your eyes, you get to show off some of your props when friends come over :)

Thank you guys. I have a large BTTF collection which I made a promise to myself and my girlfriend to keep out of the general living areas and now my office is my main prop room. It is a nice way to have some of my props or pieces out in the open. I just wish I had some more space in that room because I could do a nice Jurassic Park, and Iron Man one too. Thanks for the feedback guys, keep it coming, not done yet and could use any other awesome ideas.

I'm a fan of displaying one or two iconic props with the posters as well. :) I really like the variety you have in your room.

Here's a wall in my room where I did something similar:

I have another Star Wars wall with the poster you have as well as the original record displayed. :)

My idea at first was to make my theater kinda 80's themed. And failed. I had a brain fart on the original star wars poster and meant to buy a empire strikes back one. My Alien one is wrong because it was a late 70's. But, oh well, I still like what I have. I would love to do something else where I have a light shine over the poster and props one at a time and have the theme music from the movie play and have it rotate through all the posters. A kind of attraction mode. But, I don't think i'll invest the time in that even though it would be cool.
