My tailor wanted $125 per jacket to take in and shorten the sleeves and fix the flare at the bottom back of the jacket. She used to quote me great prices, but the last few haven't been so good. I'm pretty sure I've gone through all of the tailors in Long Beach, though, so I guess I'm stuck. At least she knows how to sew.

Hi there. Great photos of your Baron's suit, it looks fantastic. 
I've been thinking about dressing up as the Doctor for NY Comic Con this year, and have been trying to decide how to go about getting a suit. After reading this thread, I think I've decided on getting the fabric from Magnoli and sending it to Baron's for tailoring. The thing is, I'm a girl, so I'm a little concerned about how the suit would fit me. Jedi, since you own a Baron's suit and know how it fits, I was just wondering if you might have any insight on this?

Well, I'm a guy, so I don't know how well I'd be able to make that assessment, but I can say to simply email them, let them know you're a girl and you'd like the suit altered for a more female form... They'd want different measurements, but I'm sure they'd be willing to accommodate you.

I have the blue Baron suit. I absolutely love it. The cut and fit are amazing! The only complaint I have is that I feel the red silk screened stripes stand out a little too much from the blue. There are a lot of scenes and pics in Doctor Who where I wouldn't even know there were red stripes on the suit unless I knew beforehand, and with the baron fabric there is no mistaking that at any distance. Definately would recomend ordering the re-weave fabric and sending it to Baron for the tailoring.

I'm interested in getting a suit from Baron, but I think I read a review a while ago that the brown suit fabric is actually a dark shade of blue or something? Am I wrong? Is it an accurate brown now?

I'm still on the fence about buying this suit...I still have to decide on a Scream robe purchase, but I can wear the suit more often (duh) so its a no brainer which to spend my money on.
