My first build. (yet another) Iron Man. Mark 2-ish

More pictures! I decided to take a bit of a break, as I was getting bored working on my suit, but now I'm back with a vengeance! While I still like my first helmet, I feel I could do better. Considering the foam files are more movie accurate as well, I decided to try a foam helmet. Made in red and yellow foam for convenience!

Here's the twist:

Since I only have a limited amount of 6mm foam left, I made a practice helmet from 2mm craft foam at 20% reduced scale. Seeing as it turned out rather well, I think I'll go forward with the full-sized 6mm helmet.

It's just plain old Rustoleum silver. Nothing special.

More photos! The legs have been painted, and I have the beginnings of the boots. I'm using JFcustom's boot file, as I find it looks less "flat-footed" than Dancin_Fool's. Most importantly, I've completed the full-sized foam helmet. I thought it would've given me a headache, but it was actually a breeze to put together.
