After spending 2 years on my R2 I thought I would work on a smaller project. I had been collecting parts over the last year. Base is a MCG Mauser that I picked up at a garage sale for $5. The Scope, Scope cradle and front grill are re-worked resin pieces from Corellian Exports. The Scope mount and bull barrel I machined from scratch. The flash suppressor i do not know the origin. Someone on the RPF. It is Aluminum and was modified to accept the bull barrel. Plaque is home made and the ID tag is from gatorbait9696.
Overall I am happy with it. Not sure how accurate it really is. Still would like to put a real lens in the front of the scope and make some sort of graphic for the rear. Also still need some real grips.
Next SW project is a real Sterling E-11 and a ESB Vader. Then again, is a R2 really ever done.... Also working on a TRON 1962 Alfa Romeo Spider. (not sure the scale)
