My Doctor Who Prop collection

They're size 9 and the soles look like every other pair of Converse I've owned/seen.

Dave's got small feet! lol, smaller then what I wear. But I will have to make a run soon, cause my halloween costume is going to be having one clothing item from every of my favorite Doctors. Thanks again, brother, I really do appreciate it.

I wasn't sure if I should put this here or in my costume thread, but I think this is more appropriate. HUGE thanks to WarMachine and Primrodo for making this photo possible. I only wish I had time to stage it somewhere volcanic. Fires of Pompeii:

Haha that's awesome. They look great together. I think a full coat/suit "The Fires Of Pompeii" photo shoot is definitely in order, sooner or later.

Indeed. I'll have to find some place in the LA/OC area that looks like Pompeii or a volcano....... suggestions anyone?

Another bump. I've added a LOT of stuff to my collection.

A magnifying glass, the CO vortex manipulator with zenix's 3D printed face plate, a vintage Timex with some mods, a secondhand fob watch, part of the CO psychic paper, and the tie worn in Utopia/Sound of Drums/Last of the Timelords.

The published Journal of Impossible Things was a co-op project between myself, War Machine, and Nick Fox and it's downloadable over in the free paper props forum. To be completely accurate, you need to wrap it around a copy of Torchwood: Pack Animals.

That thread/project was a lot of fun!

That reminds me, I finally started doing mine again just a few days ago, after 2 years of it sitting on my laptop lol. I swear I'm gonna finish my own copy just to say I've done it!!! I have a copy of Pack Animals sitting on my shelf waiting to be wrapped!

I also found the Splashinator pistol that Tennant used. It's got orange grips but I will paint those when I get the chance.

Nice! I'm glad you finally got one. Any luck with a source, or just one lucky find?

Speaking of lucky finds, I've got an amazing one to show off in a few days when it arrives in the mail.

No source, I just got lucky on eBay. I still keep my eyes peeled for a blue gripped version but I'm happy with the one I have either way.

Can't wait to see what the lucky find is :)

OK, it just showed up. After weeks of planning to make a replica of the button via shapeways 3D printing I got incredibly lucky and was given this button by a good friend. She just happened to have it in her collection. It's a vintage button identical to the ones on Tom Baker's season 17 "City of Death" frock coat, which I'm currently in the process of replicating. I will definitely be molding this button to cast replicas for my coat.

Just added these to my collection , the Tardis phone door was a quick n dirty build using a metal sign from Ebay u.k. the intention was to build the phone from empty child to go behind it ..it may /maynot happen .
The Tardis Shard is a resin R.P.F. Junkyard buy , painted by me .

Risu, I don't know much about the older costumes but if that's the button then you were right ... that is a cool find!!! Definitely saves you some work, that's for sure.

CatfoodRob, loving the TARDIS related things, they look great!

Oh it definitely is. I had no idea it had such a prominent texture though. As accurate as the 3D rendering we were going to use to print a replica was, it didn't compare to having the real thing at all. I'm starting work on the mold box now, I only have 5 weeks to finish that coat.

I desperately want that water pistol. Been searching for it for years and at this point would pay a very generous price for one. (Please note my first born is off the table, for now.)
