My Doctor Who costumes - 11th and Amy Pond

Hello all!

Well, passed five days after Geek convention - EveryCon 2012( Russia, Moscow, 8th september) in which organization I took part.
It was difficult, but we coped with an objective and tried to make a Big Holiday to all fans of their favorite Universes such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who( I made for our stand Adipose plush and we had the ONE full-size Tardis in whole Russia!), My Little Pony, Mass Effect, babylon 5 and etc.
Yes, you won't believe me, but my Kissogram costume, which I wanted and want to make it as screen accurate, as possible, wasn't successful.
Because the vest was wrong, all pouches on a belt was dressed all on wrong side, Police badges were all wrong at all and bowler hat was wrong too.. I was so upset
But, image of characters was successful wonderfully well!
Then, my groom( and future husband) was the Eleventh Doctor and fangirls didn't give him pass all over Con..

This is my first screen accurate costumes and I want to re-make my vest, because it's all wrong..

From this angle, your 11th Doc really looks like Matt Smith, especially with that look on his face! Love the TARDIS, nice to see Doctor Who becoming popular in other countries.

Awesome. Tel me, Did you have to pay $300 at BBC.com for the Doctors Tweed Jacket, $125 for a custom fitted one from the manufacturer, or if not, how did you snag one?

I agree with Angelus Lupus, your Doctor really does look like The Doctor in this pic. And from behind I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between you and Karen.

The Captain52, I am just lucky catch this one jacket on vintage clothing site - for 60-70$.
Seriously, this jacket has only one wrong thing - it has two back vents and not one, like original has, so, I will try to find more screen accurate.
Showtunes, actually - all photos not good, but back of me was made by professional photographer from cosplay festivals/Cons magazine.
We had photocorner with professional photographer at our Con, so we all in waiting for our fantastic photoshoots..
I have some with my Doctor and Raggedy.. because I were in organizators group, so haven't got any free time for photoshoots.
And.. sometimes I will be very looks alike Karen and not only from back

A PROUD Whovian am I, my friend, and I am eager to see what the new Suit will be like, in detail, for to me, thie new one is even better than the 8th, which would be my choice to make for myself
