details would be that i picked up a resin browncoat pistol off e-bay. got it, stared at it a long time and had a couple ideas:
since i've always had a love for the 1875 remington 'outlaw' single-action revolver i knew my custom had to have the under barrel "sail" ... then i was thinking what would say ...firefly, serenity, browncoat and 'verse. so i had the idea of putting a chinese symbol ...or as it ended up... a chnese coin in the grip. to tell the truth i'm not even sure the coin is chinese. i just know it's asian. :lol
i gathered my ideas and the kit up, sent them to dean dymerski, and the rest is history.

great looking pistol. BTW, the coin is a 5 Yen (japanese) coin. traditionally a good luck coin worn on a necklace.
