yup. it holds up well. it's 7 feet tall (if robert wears it most probably a few inches higher if i do.lol) it's pure rubber - no wood or metal braces. the feet are blocks of rubber made into a stilt.it's not really high maintenance. you can knock someone out if you're not careful enough.hahaha.

Cool bumblebee... and from a fellow Filipino. I've actually never been to a cosplay event, I feel I'm too old to be running around in a costume with the young people... and if I do wear a costume, I doubt people here in the Philippines will even recognize Indiana Jones. Hehehe.

Again, I'm sharing here photos of my Bumblebee. :love
Full-body shot. This is an old photo from last year. Bee is still new here but recently we have upgraded him adding more details. I have no photos yet because he hasn't come out of any conventions yet. He is often hired for character appearances. People already know of our Bee and they're all excited to see him at the con. They often ask us if we're bringing him but unfortunately his schedule for appearances is so hectic. LOL. One con, I will wear him.
We have yet to build my transformer cos. I'm not sure when though but within the year. We have so many pending projects for cosplay. LOL.
The photos below were taken from a character appearance we were invited to. We have Megatron, Optimus and Space Marine with us. I'm just cos-tripping. lol. We were playing with the free photo-booth in the event. It normally takes only a few minutes to get the prints out but when i came back for it people took it for souveniers. :cry wah! Good thing they uploaded it online. LOL. The only print I got was the photo of me & bee. I put it in my office table. hehe.

Another filipino member here, though I live in Canada.
This is a great suit! I plan to start a build and hope to be finished in a year.
I have a few Questions...
1. How did you attach/secure the Arms and legs while wearing it?
2. Is the body/chest worn like American football shoulder pads?
3, Do you have any progress pics you can share?
4. What do you suggest as the first part to start on?
5. How did you get the scale for the wearer?
I was wondering if you would be able to post pics of the back and of the feet.

ah. no. it's not alpombra. its just plain rubber matting.
but isnt it Albombra is what the rubber slippers in the Philippines called? Spartan Tsinelas lol

sorry we don't have. robert made that costume last year. freehand from scratch.
