Very cool collection dude. I think that a real Delorean would top that lot off real nice...

Very impressive collection. Do you own a DeLorean as well? I bought my Delorean back in 1988 and the BTTF movies made owning the car so much more fun. Where do you buy the mondo posters, they are awesome?

I do not own one yet but want to within a year or two. I got the mondo posters on ebay. But now most of them are harder to find which makes them expensive!

Hi
That book you say it's from some sort of an exhibition in Japan, can you post a pic of the cover or inform the title, author, etc?
The book really really looks cool !
Thanks

Yea I can when I am home from work. It is really really cool. But cost a lot!!! I have only seen it for 250-300 for several months and I just happened to snag it for 125. which is still a lot but I really wanted it so it didn't matter.

Here are some more pictures of the book, as promised.

Here is some more info I dug up about the book.

Title: Hollywood SFX Museum: Back to the Future Exhibition.
Total pages: 122.
Orientation: Left to right.
Original price: not sold in stores.
ISBN: none.
Catalog Number: none.
Published by: Hata International, ©1990.
Added Bonus: Available in two different covers.

Contents: The motherlode of all publications! This extremely rare book is a "guide book" of sorts to a Japanese Museum tour that toured the country when BTTF3 was coming out in 1990. Unlike all of the publications listed above, this was not a store-bought publication. Attendees of the museum tour received these books as part of their admission, or were purchased separately at the respective museum.

There were only four museums on the Hollywood SFX tour:
Daimaru Museum Kyoto, March 21-27, 1990
Hakata Daimaru Art Gallery, April 26 - May 8, 1990
Daimaru Museum Tokyo, July 26 - August 6, 1990
Daimaru Museum Umeda, August 8-19, 1990

According to Bob Gale's office, the props placed in the museum tour never made it back to Universal, as they were all stolen in route back stateside.
The book covers props from all three films, including storyboards, concept drawings, photographs, etc. Most of the text is written in Japanese, but the forewards from Robert Zemeckis & Bob Gale are in both languages, as is the index of each item in the back, along with the credits. Pages 12-24 deal with BTTF1; 25-77 with BTTF2; 78-89 with BTTF3, and the rest is from a few other movies on the SFX Museum tour, including "*batteries not included", "Gremlins", "Poltergeist 2", "Top Gun", "1984", "Star Trek", "Alien", "Flight of the Navigator", "Ghostbusters", "Solarbabies", and "Masters of the Universe". Of those films, there are only 1 or more photos each, ranging from props to miniatures to set photos.
This title is a very popular one among BTTF prop collectors, and is considered to be the definitive resource for prop photographs.

Last is another signed model. This one is signed by Claudia Wells, Bob Gale, and 2 of the special effects people. The car is numbered 5 of 6.

I have a Mad Dog hoverboard keychain. I read on IMDb that Griff's 'Pit Bull' Hoverboard was originally going to be called 'Mad Dog' to foreshadow his character in BTTF III.
