Hi friends, I tried to build a glaive like this
but I ended up with a bit of an other design (which I changed twice).
Well, let's start with blades from MDF wood!
Blades after sanding
I decided to take this double laser sabre in the middle.... but after a while I thougt it would be better to copy it first... so, I just wrapped some kind of rope around it.
This will be the Bladeholder...
By the way... my improvised grinding machine....
I bought a wooden stick of 2 m and covered it with a tube isolation. This was wrapped with rope..... it felt like 10 miles of rope...
Near to the end it looked like this:
Fact is, MDF wood is good to work with, but easy to break. So I came up with a kind of metal fitting from aluminium.
I just bent it around and srewed it.
Now, the paintjob!
My spraycans
Here we go again with the blades
And here the more or less finished one
