Re: My Handmade Freddy Krueger Glove + Stand. 95% Complete

Have not found the LOS gel, but I haven't really looked for it yet. Maybe this weekend. I don't have much time to get out during the week.

Amazon sell it pretty cheap if you can't find any locally.

Same here I also got a reply, he did apologize and said there already to go, let's hope customs don't keep them?

Re: My Handmade Freddy Krueger Glove + Stand. 95% Complete

i live in korea my razorglove went threw customs and threw the army post office and i recieved them no problem. note korea is really against weapons. and the army is very strict on having knives and swords sent over. i dont know about australia but should be fine.

Re: My Handmade Freddy Krueger Glove + Stand. 95% Complete

that a awesome glove ch33ze and i have a question for everyone. on alot of glove builders website they make a big deal out of having a leather glove with a straight thumb line i looked at mine and its different then ch33zes glove. are the straight thumb lined glove hard to find?

I'll soon find out if they get here, i don't need them as i can make my own but i thought i'd order some in case my own blades didn't turn out, but i'm pleased they did.

As for the Glove i guess i was lucky enough to find one in my local hardware Depo, it was a Leather cowhide glove that i found along with all the other Gardening gloves for $7 and as a bonus it had the tie thing and red ball on the back. But i don't think you need an exact glove unless your'e doing a replica, if it looks good then use what you can find.

Great glove btw, i was actually looking at buying one as well as building one from Razor Gloves prior to my build but i won't now as i'm happy with my own, love the idea of using a sock....classic ;o) I did nearly use a severed hand myself, i was looking on ebay and found a decent one for $3 or something but i never did buy is, i was going to put metal inside the fingers so they could be bent to shape, but i ended up making my own to fit the glove on and i'm glad i did now.

I'm going to start building 3 more soon and hopefully sell them on, a mate at work is interested and i have Copper left over so why not, i always planned on making another if it came out good, but they won't be finished until next Feb, because over Christmas i'm away, and they do take a while to complete (especially three lol)

yeah about the hand i went with that cause im here in korea and dont have a home depot close or a micheals craft store, the rubber hand i bought was fairly cheap from amazon. it said it was the size of a female hand, but maybe a 10 year old female.. its super small and turns out it was only stuffed with cotton so i cut the wrist pulled the stuffing out and made a metal hand frame with bailing wire stuffed that in then restuffed the cotton. that way i could pose the hand. and the glove the only thing i dont like about it is it doesnt have a red ball. yet

You can always look out for a glove and if you find one, get it weathered and torn and replace it, or if your happy with the one you have get some leather and sow it on along with the ball and strap, it would just need some weathering but wouldn't be hard.

This was the hand I was originally looking at - http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com.au/viewitem?itemId=140842884010&index=0&nav=WATCHING&nid=11569237265 by the size in the descriptions it's the size of a Males hand.

Re: My Handmade Freddy Krueger Glove + Stand. 95% Complete

Going to get some Red paint for metal tomorrow and do the plaque to finish the glove up, I'm also going to cut out the finger pieces for 3 more gloves hopefully and maybe get the backplates cutout too, and why I'm getting the paint ill pick up 3 more gloves.

Busy, busy, busy.....;o)
