Can I sand Silk PLA?

I'm printing a big mythosaur skull in the style of Bo Katan's sigil. I'm don't want to use all my filament so I was going to try and print one part each using a little from each spool. I have some silver Elegoo silk PLA that I can't stand so I was wondering if I could use it and sand it. I haven't sanded Silk PLA so I don't know if it sands the same as regular PLA. I'm not worried about the shine at all as I'm going to finish and paint it. I tried Googling and it's just people saying "Yes, but the shine will be killed."

I agree with the people. You can sand silk PLA and it will kill the shine. It sands just like any other PLA.

Cool thanks! I'm going to get rid of this demon spool! I went through a ton of hoops to try to get it shiny and when I got the best shine out of it, I was underwhelmed.
