Must Buy WANDS!!

I don't remember a silver tip myself. The only time we see it in closeup is when he's pulling a memory out his head for the Pensieve, so the tip is glowing, but I'm pretty sure it's just plain.
 
I'm pretty sure it's just the tip glowing via special effects. :) In the rest of the movie/other movies, it has the standard dark wand tip.

Darth Brass- Any luck on that Ollivander's logo/box scan? I'm interested in that also.
 
I don't feel comfortable handing out scans of the Noble Collection box labels. I did attempt to recreate the box-top Ollivander's logo (not included w/the Nobel wands). It's nowhere screen accurate, but it looks the part in my opinion. If you're interested in THAT, I'll post it. The other stuff is copyrighted.
 
The wands are only $30. If you have a problem paying that, you might want to look into another hobby.
 
That's a very good point, Juno. Unless they're sculpting them for fun or something, the Noble wands are really quite nice for the cost.
 
Or just for the box! The box is pretty dang close to the movie ones as well.

That's what I thought you were referring to when you replied about scanning one for another member. I'm trying to recreate the "Ollivanders" gold oval that I saw on the top of some of the original movie prop boxes, but I didn't see it on any Noble boxes.

If you're referring to me, please see above. The logo I'm looking for isn't on the boxes, at least not the boxes that I've seen in person. If it is on another box, then I apologize. I have no problem paying $30 dollars, but I just want the logo for the custom wands I'm making for a friend and myself. :)

That's what I thought. It's just the silvery rectangle on the end with the numbers, correct? The only wands I've seen in person are the light up ones that are only have a graphic of the appropriate actor on the inside flap.

and nickytea, that looks very nice! What did you use for reference? All I could ever find for Luna's wand were out of focus shots.

I used the picture of the japanese replica, a link was posted in the "ootp props" thread; and it is being sold now on ebay I believe. When I had a vauge idea of what the design looked like, I could totally see it in the production pics.

Here is a wand I had custom made from thewandshop.com. The more basic ones are pretty inexpensive, and they do a really nice job on them. The really nice part is that it feels really solid, not at all brittle. I have no fear whatsoever of breaking this thing.

Mine is cherry (although I have no idea whether or not it is actual cherry,) 13", with a single Phoenix feather.
