Hi Everyone! i was wondering what your thoughts were on the accuracy of the museum replicas jedi luke. I was considering purchasing it but cant find any reviews

i was wondering the same! Looks really nice. I was thinking about the Obi full cos. I spoke to them and they say that they were able to actually have the real screen used costumes and copy them exactly. I wonder... here is a link:

:lol Thats what they all say! :lol

Museum replicas is famous for very low quality items.

This has been discussed here when they first announced the License and showed the Proto's and of course what they are offering is not Screen Accurate according to some , close enough for others.

yeah, most companies love the whole..."screen accurate" phrase! We all know better. I am always ok with not exactly accurate, as long as quality is there. I got a few things from them in the past that were very well made. I wonder about these?

Hopefully someone will know.

I have been looking at the Luke also and have been looking for reviews but can't find any.

I'd also love to know as i have been looking at there officers uniform for some time but have of late been looking at the luke costume. Been holding off since i am kind of nervous buying a ready made uniform as i would prefer to go down the old custom route.

I ordered an assassins creed vambrace from them in December. They took the money and I waited about 3 weeks and never heard anything. I checked the website and it says available "Winter 2011." I called them and asked what that meant and they said they didn't know, couldn't tell me when it may ship, couldn't say why I was never told it was on backorder and never offered a refund. I still have the order in, but it has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

My husband bought Luke's cloak. I had already made him Luke's basic black Jedi outfit from ROTJ. The construction was decent but the material was awful. It was a cheap cotton weave that reminds me of burlap when you're close enough. It looks okay at a distance. My husband loves it....I would have rather spent that money to get the more accurate wool fabric and make it from scratch so that it looks good up close too

Kind of related to their products, I ordered the Obi Jedi Boots for them in a moment of desperation. This was last summer and I finally go them around Halloween. I wear a size 10.5 and they only have full sizes, so I went with an 11. The fit okay if a little big in the foot. The uppers are stiff, but well constructed. I found them to be big around my calf and took them to a cobler I have used for other alterations. He is going to resize it so it fits my leg a little better. For the cost, I could have gone a better, custom route, but overall I am okay with the product. I would like to get the Jedi Luke costume, but want a custom job for that.

Cheers

Sebastian

That's what I figured. :unsure
