MR Snowspeeder help please

I have an MR speeder that has the gun barrel missing. Does anyone have any really good shots of the gun on the MR one or a spare/recast one that they would part with please?

I'm assuming this is the gun barrel you meant, or do you want the harpoon gun?

I'm thinking of sculpting a pilot and gunner for my MR speeder.

If I can figure out how to pop the cockpit open, I'd do it in a flat second.

Having done this, I can tell you it's no easy task. While the front part of the canopy appears to just be glued down to the main body and relatively easy to dislodge, the rear part is actually trapped by the angle of the engine. The Engine blocks do not want to come free, so you will have to cut through the canopy. I thought that the engine blocks might be secured with screws, but they are firmly glued in place. Even popped the bottem panle off and tried approaching it from the underside. No go. Break out the X-acto.......

I was very disappointed to find out that the flaps on the engines didn't open.

I'm surprised that MR didn't go all the way and make some generic pilots.

Oh well.

Sounds like a little "ship in a bottle" building would be neccessary to get the pilots in there.

I started to add some pilots to my MR Snowspeeder a few months ago but haven't had time to work on it.
