MR Muppets line?

We all know Kermit came out awhile ago and got a mixed reception... I remember some talk of MR doing an Animal muppet next. Does anyone have any word on if this is still a tentative plan? Or word on the Muppets line in general? I'm hoping it doesn't go the way of the lightaber CE's...

Next muppet announced was Gonzo, They had protype pics floating around, but I haven't heard anything beyond that.

I'm hearing Gonzo next then Animal, both being released next year.

that's a relief... i'm just happy to hear that the line did well enough this year to justify a few more muppets. sapper, do you have any pics of the gonzo prototype saved by any chance? would love to check him out.

Gonzo prototype 1 ...

The man making Gonzo Proto 2 and Animal.

Both coming out next year 2007.

wow.. thanks for the pics Lynn... i'm impressed. i can almost hear animal shouthing his name in those pics. i especially like the 2nd picture of him (proto 2). his eyebrows seem more correctly positioned on her eyes than on the first picture of proto 1 or the 3rd picture of proto 2. could these be 3 different prototypes by any chance? or are the eyebrows not static?

These show only two Animal prototypes as of these pics, Toy fair is the 1st one in the display case and the second one is directly stated #2 from the man pictured with Gonzo who made them.
The eyes on proto 2 are working and the eyebrows and lids move as you can see in the pics.
