I think it's going to be November and December and January depending on where you are in the ordering list. The first batch are on their way. closely followed by the rest.

How do I find out were I am on the ordering list :unsure ?

Can't wait to see what the facatory turns out in regards to the paint job.

I second that thought, I placed my order based on the production model that was shown at comic con. I'm holding my breath that the rest measure up to the finish on that one. As I said in an earlier post, I hope the factory didn't just stick their best guy on that one. :p

I emailed MR and they said orders placed now will ship December/ January. Are any in the mail yet? I would like to see how the production models turn out before I place my order if possible.

Will there be a run of the Han and Chewie figures for those of us who want to add them to the cockpit?

So will you be offering these to the RPF? They would be an awesome addtion to the model assuming they can be put in the cockpit. You did a spectacular job on them.

I just got this email from Master Replicas...

I'm a little surprised it's not November, as I was lurking and refreshing their webpage the day it was released to CS members so I could place my order almost instantly. Of course, maybe this ship date is among the earliest. Barry had said 'November' so, I wondered...

funny enough my order didn't have the "E" or whatever it is that tells you its one of the early orders, yet I ordered via the webpage at about 1/2 a second after they went on sale.

Might cancle my order and grab one from one of the boards MR dealers for a good discount.

Wow, it seems that you guys saved on the shipping big time due to a miscalculation of MR.
$2.199.00 + Shipping $103.05 is a total of 2.302.05 but NOT 2.202.05....
Congrats :)

I think we both applied one of our CS coupon codes for a studio scale replica... (-$100). It's not detailed in their breakdown.

Dave, I'm not sure I'd do that (cancel). I recall a thread that discussed the "early" orders (P code, or some such). But, my recollection was that the code isn't in the order number. It's on the box? So, you don't know until it arrives, or something like that. I could be wrong. Anyone???

Hi, I am new here :) Have been lurking around for the last couple of weeks. From what I've read, my understanding is that you get the 'code' when your credit card is charged just before shipment. I ordered an SE MF within the first 10mins. of it going up for sale to CS members, but have not even gotten an e-mail yet :cry . If I didn't get a low series # it would be disappointing. I don't see the point of paying $80 for a CS membership to get an early chance at buying the product when it's offered to CS members and then they just randomize the series #'s anyway. Kind of defeats the purpose of the CS membership, for me anyway. If that is the case I am thinking of cancelling my order too and picking one up later (are you listening MR). Anyone know if they randomize the series numbers on all their products, or do they usually place the series #'s as they are ordered?

I'm not really sure how the numbering works. It seems to me, though, that since the boxes aren't labelled on the outside(?), and that the boxes have a few handoffs during transit...it would be very difficult to ensure that customers received MFs in the order they were actually manufactured half-way round the world. Hey, I'm with you...I want as low a number as I can get, that's why I sat refreshing MR's webpage for 6-7 minutes so I could place my order the moment it appeared. Just not sure it's logistically feasible. Then again, I suppose I'd rather have the 25th replica they assembled than the 1st or 2nd. By then, everyone should have been good and warmed up... :D

Too true, practice makes perfect. I suppose by the 100th Falcon they should be getting pretty good at it. But then again they might start getting bored of doing the same thing over and over and over... Or maybe it's a day of the week thing, don't want one painted on Mondays or Fridays (like when buying a car)... well i don't know what the Chinese work week is like. Do they get Saturdays and Sundays off?

just remember guys ---

the ships are built and then the plaques are added MUCH later.... So you could get plaque # 010 but the actual Falcon might have been the 133 rd assembled

Yep. HF was just signing plaques a few weeks ago for replicas that were probably leaving China at the same time. It's a logistical dance.

MR probably does ship them according to the sequence in which they were ordered, though. At the end of the day, while I'd like a "low numbered plaque", I'm just as interested in being among the first to get one. :D

Hi Dave.

If you are one one of the first 300 people to get a confirmed order, then you will have a "P" on your order. This means that you will receive a model numbered 1-300. However, when these are shipped, they are randomly selected from this inventory. So no one is "guaranteed" #1, or #250, etc

After the first 300, then once again, they are randomly selected from the remaining inventory.

According to this post earlier in this thread it is random and not in sequence. But I am not sure if he means the model is random or the plaque # (hopefully he means the model). I would think the plaque with the edition numbers should be in the sequence in which they were ordered. Maybe someone from MR can clarify this.

Anyway, I suppose we should just be happy to be getting one. :cheers
