Moulding and casting coins

Anyone have an easy way to make a coin mould (two sided)? I would like to make something and need it to be a two sided mould that would accept a low-melt metal. Would ultra-cal work? I know the best thing is a concrete mould with sand and so forth but are there any other ways?

There are silicones suited especially for low-temp metals. I would chose that.

I have heard about people using plaster, but it needs to be really dry or any moisture left could vapourize and break the mold apart.

I've used just the standard molding sillicone for many metal items....make sure to dust the mold each time with talcum powder before each pour...or the item won't be filled correctly...bumpy etc.

Depending on how many pulls you want, you can do a silicone pocket mold that is similar to the vinyl coin purses. You cover the coin completely in one pour and them slit the edge of the mold to and squueeze open to pull out coin, add resin lo-melt metal, set and pull again.
